Granny's Gettin' Lit -- She's Headin' Out to Bingo

I went to two quilt stores today.

And I signed up to do a quilt block-of-the-month club. I'm woozy over the cuteness.

Of course, I am going to have to go dye my hair grey now. I need to fit in with all the old biddies.

(Have you noticed? I always get myself in trouble at quilt stores when Aaron is out of town.)

Oh, yeah. Here's what I purchased...

Five 1930's reprint fat quarters and one holiday fat quarter.

My brain still isn't working properly from yesterday.

Yes, the quilt is cute.

And it seems there are a lot worse places to get in trouble with him out of town- And worse trouble to get into !

Two children at a quilt store? Impressive. Are you going with a grey grey dye or more of the bluish granny tint? Just curious.
I likey those fabrics!
Glad you got to get out of the house.

Cute stuff. I really need to make it to a quilt store one day. That's uncharted territory for me.

I'm not allowed in quilt shops for a while (self-imposed ban). However, a group/class might actually ensure that something would get completed!

Well you can be like some of us inappropriate quilters. Not all gray hair and stuffy ways. Darling fabric, cute Ann Sutton quilt for your block of the month.

I love the fabric, can't wait to see what you will do with it. I joined a quilting club too. I bought the fabric, but have to get off my ass. There aren't any old biddies in my club only really cool people like me. Bet yours will be the same.

So you are going to craft with the grannies using granny cloth? Yes, you need mucho gray hair for that, and taking your children with you should accomplish that! (Love the fabric btw)

I think you'd be cute with gray hair, maybe twisted up into a little bun. But it's going to take the kids a little while longer to make you go completely gray. (Notice I didn't say how long...)

Nice fabrics!
