Gutter Punks, You're All the Same

I've finally realized the major problem with my and Aaron's relationship...

He likes cake-y brownies and I like fudge-y brownies.

That can be such a stumbling point in a relationship. But of course, you're right. Fudgy brownies are the best.

I think I just like brownie-brownies not beigy-brownies!

Oh, nothing but fudgy. Otherwise, just have cake.

fudge-y. no doubt about it.

you'll have to call the whole thing off....

:)

(either that, or if he wants cakey brownies, than he can make them himself! I have no particular ill-will towards the cakey kind, I'm just not making 'em. Viva la fudgey!)

fudge-y all the way! i think my husband would agree.

are you trying to come up with a gluten-free brownie recipe for your cookbook? is aaron trying to persuade you to change your recipe to his liking????

The one who bakes the brownies makes the rules. (Fudgy for me!)

Cakey is best. But all your marriage woes will be over if you just make BOTH!! Yay for more brownies!

Cake-y brownies? Why not just eat cake? I like chewy fudgy brownies, myself. But if I had no brownie, and someone offered me a cake-y brownie, I would still eat it.

I with you fudgy brownies all the way, with ice cream not whipped cream, and nuts.

Ringing in on Relationship Troubles in SAT Style:
Jason is to Laura as Kim is to Aaron,
or...
Husband like Fudgy, Wife like Cakey.
Cakey Cakey, goooooo Cakey.
Oh, and they musn't have icing, which mine never do, thus providing Husbnad w/ complaint material.
And THAT, folks, is how we stay together:
Do what I want, and let him complain.
(FYI, they didn't cover this in marriage and family therapy training!!)

Toben and I just had this conversation tonight after some neighbors brought us a plate of brownies. I had one bite and stopped--too cakey. I like 'em chewy and fudgy and a little crisp around the edges. He's all for cake. Maybe it's a male/female thing...

Hmmm... I wonder where two fudgies went wrong? ;)

In reviewing this situation, and realizing that your marital bliss hangs in the balance, it's time to ask the most important question.. Mayo or Miracle Whip.

Take your time, think about the answer. The future is in your hands.

Ha - One time i asked what kind to make and David and my mom, who was visiting, looked at me like I might have lost my mind -- FUDGE-Y of course. Otherwise, make cake!

WOW! A 2 sentence post and you get 20 comments! Impressive!
I'm just gonna say it...if ya want fudgy then why not make FUDGE? I'm just saying. ;-)
Both are good to me. Depends on the mood.
OHH-You should include both versions in your cookbook to promote happy marriages in the gluten-free home.

FUDGY, OF COURSE! (If I'm too lazy to scratch bake, the Gluten Free Pantry has a INCREDIBLE Chocolate Truffle Brownie Mix!)

Men! Fudgy brownies are the only way to go.

That's really funny because that's how me and my husband are (and I'm totally with you on fudgey!) :)

as long as they don't have any nuts... I'm game.

In my household the dilemma is music. I do country... he does Buddha Bar.

There's no solution to that one. We would NEVER steal each other ipods!!!
