You didn't know we were trying? Neither did we.
Yes, this is a huge surprise. But I love surprises and even though I'm still in shock ("we're having a baby? you sure about that?") I'm certain this is the best surprise ever.
Except? Ohmyhell, my belly. Only eight weeks and it has exploded.
"Mama, I'm sharing stickers with the baby. This is the baby's sticker. Not yours. Got it?"
And the funny thing is, everything is going "perfectly" (as long as you don't count the constant nausea). With both boys we had to try-try-try and once pregnant I had to take hormones in order not to miscarry. With this one? Hormones are perfect. With the boys, I just got fat-fat-fat and I never looked pregnant. With this one? "Oh my god! You already have a baby bump!" The differences are just mind-boggling.
I'm thanking the gluten-free gods for the everything-working-out-for-once. Over four years and I'm most definitely at my healthiest.
Except for the nausea. Dear gods, could you take care of that one please? With a cherry on top?
Mmmmm, cherries.

Not trying to give you nightmares... but have they checked for twins?
I am so guessing the differences you are noticed are boy-pregnancy versus girl-pregnancy. There's gotta be a baby girl in that bump!
"You didn't know we were trying? Neither did we. Yes, this is a huge surprise."
Um, you know how babies are made, right?
Sounds like you've got a girl in there to me!
Wow, how did I miss the previous post?! Congratulations!!
AHhhH! You're having a GIRL! Start making girly castles towers, ASAP.
Ginger tea? I'm still smiling at the thought.
Agreed, sounds like a girl to me. My OB/GYN told me that it's like blowing up a balloon and letting it deflate, it gets easier to stretch each time and gets bigger each time!
Holy awesomeness!!! I had horrible nausea too and brought a box of gorilla munch to bed MANY nights. Can't stomach the sight of them now but they were a pregnant GF girl's best friend. Enjoy that belly!
AHHHHHHHH, and OHHHHHHHHHHH and a bit of Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww
Fantastic news.....
Man that sickness is a killer, how I remember.
With my third pregnancy I wanted to crawl into a hole and not come out for about 6 months because of the nausea. Can you take Zofran? It's the only thing that made me remotely able to function as a human.
If you need help with the boys, you know where to find me.
I wouldn't stress too much about your "exploding belly". I showed increasingly quicker with each of my children. On my third (and last) I was in full-blown maternity clothes by 10-12 weeks!
Congrats, by the way!! :)
oh maybe it's a girl???
and by the way that would make me very jealous. VERY. But happy for you. Yeah for YOU.
and apparenly ginger is good for nausea.
wow, what exciting new. Nausea not good - 'preggie pops' (available online) can help and my ob/gyn advised ginger beer stirred ro get rid of the fizz with a little salt added - sounds odd but it worked.
Sounds like a girl.
Look what happens when I'm gone! Awesome!!!!
Congratulations!!! What fantastic news!
