Tomorrow morning I'm getting up at the ass-crack of dawn to drive to Saint Louis to visit my bestest friend in the entire world. She's coming down from Wisconsin to visit her parents and I get to visit for the day.
Then after spending the day with her and her two year old son (also known as The Cutest Puddley-Wumper That Ever Did Exist) I get to drive the three-plus hours home tomorrow night.
But I don't mind driving. Not at all. It relaxes me. I'll be like Tuckie the Turtle, totally pimped out and relaxed after spending the day with my bestest friend.
Well, hmph. In any case, I WILL RELAX THIS WEEKEND GODDESS DAMN IT. Serenity now!

I didn't know they had Trader Joe's in Missouri! If there's still one there, I need to find it. Have a great weekend!
Have a great time with your bestest friend. And enjoy the extra-long weekend.
You have got to be kidding me? Trader Joe's closed? Since living in California and getting used to having one a few streets away... we actually pick up our Two-Buck Chuck (now $3), at the one in St. Louis.
The screams and curse words will most seriously start flowing from my mouth, if you do indeed confirm it is closed. And, trust me. I DO HAVE QUITE THE MOUTH, {but I consider it impolite to curse on other people's blogs}.
Enjoy your trip!
(I don't suppose there's a Trader Joe's in Holland?!)
I've never been to a Trader Joe's. I did not know a turtle had such a long neck. I hope you have a blast on your relaxing day! Your next trip has to be to Mississippi.

Have a safe trip! I never really liked driving until it became a nice little quiet getaway post-children. :) You can just sit and listen to whatever music you want. That should be relaxing.
Have fun with your friend, and I hope you find a TJ's! I went to one in LA and brought home some goodies (that are already almost gone).
Email me- Where in St. Louis are you going. I can tell you where they are. I think.
Have fun. Be safe.
3 hours alone in the car? Sounds like a vacation.
Have a wonderful girlfriend kind of weekend :D
Hell, we're so underprivileged here in Australia I don't even know what Trader Joe's IS.
Travel safely, sweetie grrrl - and have a fab time with your bestest girlfriend!
(and here's hoping that you find another TJ's!)
Have fun!
Have a safe trip and I hope you find a TJ along your route!
You know what they say... insanity later....
Your turtle looks so coot in his new home!
Never Trader Joe's here in the land of WF!
I lived for five years in Colorado with no Trader Joes. It was total deprivation.
There's nothing like catching up with your best friend....or a long weekend ahead of you. Have fun!
How wonderful! Bestest friends are the BEST (well, DUH!) LOL. Have a wonderful time! Does TJ's have online shopping? If not, send me your list woman, and I can shop for ya. :)
I want to relax too this weekend, but I don't know if it'll happen. I'm up now with no kids to bug me, hey, that's something, right?!
Have a great time!
Do you know we have a TJ's a couple miles away and I've NEVER been there in the 14 years we've lived here? Kinda afraid if I'd get sucked in and never be heard from again... I even drool on the cute flyer...
Ohhh...have fun! I hope that you find a Trader Joes...it's been so danged long since I've been to one, it's not even funny...sigh.
Have agreat time with your bestest mate. Hope you have a grip roaring time. Man that turtle is cute.
