It's Getting Rough, Off the Cuff I've Got to Say Enough's Enough

It has been raining here all week and I love it.

But now, now, now it is suppose to rain this weekend too... which means we might have to put off a bunch of gardening shit because the ground is sopping wet.

It's like the entire yard needs to be rung out and air dried. Grrrrr...

Don't mess with my dandy lion blowin', Mama.

Looking at kiddie porn (Lego catalog) is exhausting.

I SWEAR TO GODDESS: I will not break my foot this year and will have a plentiful, beautiful garden, damn it.

I wished we could have some of your rain here. It's been nothing but dry, dry, dry... the soil just blows away in the wind!

(kiddie porn, hehe)

Only a really smart child would fall asleep on a photo of Lego chess. ;)

the boys are looking especially darling in these photos!

And wasn't that a better than average Lego catalog? We had fun pouring over that one here at the House that Crazy Built...

(Oh - and that whole swearing to the Goddess thing?

You're just asking for it, you know?

I think we call that "tempting fate".

Just sayin')

No breakage of ANYTHING this year, please. And no rain on Sunday. No rain on Sunday. Say it with me now. No rain on Sunday!

my boy screamed bloody murder when I told him that lego time was over and it was time for bed...

he decided he was going to stay put, so I turned all the lights off.
sometimes, my kids being afraid of the dark, works in my favor.

your boys are adorable!

There's a reason I don't let Max read your blog and it isn't the swear words which I could explain away easily enough. It's all the lego porn. If he discovered that your kids have such a lush lego catalog it will be all over for us.

Seriously, your kids are so handsome!

Hi Laura! I'm seeing Kansas in the news again! How do you deal with the tornado threat? Brrr! A whole TOWN gone??? (of course, I grew up on the gulf coast of FL. The hurricanes were just a part of life for me...)

You know, I swear my monthly horiscope said not to wear heels at the end of April because I would hurt myself...phew. I made it, and now everyone is safe (see...you will plant that garden!)
