Well Another Crazy Day, You'll Drink the Night Away and Forget About Everything

Spring break begins today...
Griffin's artwork, "Funky Guy with Bat Wings"

Which means no foreseeable breaks from the children.

cha-cha-cha-chia

So that means I'm going to have to fill all our time with stuff. You know, like a good parent should.

"copcorns"

But, as we all know, I don't know diddly-shit about that.

and, of course, legos

Good thing Griffin has a doctor's appointment today. Otherwise I'm sure we'd all be still dressed in pajamas at the end of the day.

Because, you know, that has never happened in this house before.

Ahem.

Oh yes...PJ's all day, I haven't done that in ages. I wonder if anyone would notice if I showed up to the shop in them? Well, fashion being what it is today, maybe not...as long as they were low rise right? Ewww...

I did indeed receive the lovely package + magazines yesterday (what a perfect day for it) and as promised...rubbed the magazines all over my naked body (ahem) and did post one compromising picture on the blog if anyone wants to rush right over and see it...

My kids (two of which are teenagers) think it's a great day when we're in our pj's all day. That means we didn't accomplish anything.

Lori, quit rubbing it in!

Oh, I miss Spring break...The drinking, the partying, all the cute boys.
Well at least you've still got the cute boys. :)

I just forced my kids to get dressed half an hour ago. The ILs brought toys, including a massive Megablocks Pirates set with 40 bejillion little tiny pieces. At least it came with 2 little tiny Johnny Depps.

I hope you come up with lots of great things to do with them (and share) because in another week it's going to be my turn. Lordy lou!

How come we didn't get little Johnny Depps in our Lego pirate set? I'm just a little envious.

Spring break was a lot more fun when I was in school... Now, not so much.

We do PJs until about 11 at least a couple days a week. Should I not admit that? And in the winter, PJs go on at around 4 or 5. I heart PJs.

Making popcorn is a certifiable, good mother brownie-point-earning activity in our house.

AND getting dressed? Bonanza!

A Jammie Day is good for the soul. And Bat Wing Dude rocks.

Sometimes I keep my youngest in her pajamas all day because she really hates clothes in general so I justify the PJ day by saying I don't want to agitate her by taking them off just to put new clothes on again.

Really though, sometimes it's just because I feel lazy. :)

In certain parts of the world (to whit, the more 'exclusive' parts of Liverpool) it is perfectly acceptable to wear PJ's all day.
They must be a. cute or pink or
b. an exclusive label.
Seriously, these are grown women who go to the shops, have their hair done and go to their friends for coffee wearing their jimmie jams. But it's better than shell suits *shudder*

Holy smokes! Look at that crazy scooby doo! Love him.

We love the jammie days around here! It's great to give the kids a break from the morning routine that makes me feel like such a drill sergeant.

This spring break, we are going to spend at least one day doing something productive - organizing the kids' rooms. The company I work for has a great, free resource to help think through this type of task. Check it out at www.organizingmyhome.com.
