They Tried to Make Me Go to Rehab, I Said No, No, No

Must. Sew.

Really, I'm pinning all my hopes and dreams on this weekend. I want to tear down the greenhouse (well, not me but Aaron), I want to sew, I want to scrapbook, I want to drastically update my recipe site. ::sigh:: There's never enough time in a weekend, is there?

vintage buttons purchased off ebay ::drool::

Anyone know a good place to get some awesome buttons. Anyone? Anyone? ::sigh::

It's all like crack, running around to get my next fix of awesome fabric, buttons, paper. ::sigh::

Is there a crafting rehab anywhere? Are massages included? Will they give me hours of uninterrupted crafting time?

Those buttons made me gasp. (With enjoyment of their beauty and coolness)

Don't talk to me about rehab, I'm too busy looking for MY next fix. I really am hungry for vintage buttons.

Man, if you find it, sign me up! I'm light at the office today. I think I'll splt and sew. Everyone here is going to be watching basketball anyway. Rock Chalk!

(And I found some awesome buttons at the Lawrence Antique Mall. Downstairs in the southwest corner.)

Buttons? Ebay or thrift/antique stores. Come up here & we’ll go to Aaron’s strippers hometown to that antique store with all the incredible buttons, remember ?
How would that be? I actually bought several gallon size zip lock baggies full of buttons from Ebay a couple weeks ago for .99 each. I think the shipping cost me more. I haven’t sorted through them yet but there looks to be some good ones in there.

I remember my grandmother having a big box of cool buttons. Not too many matching ones, but they were awesome.

Maybe you should start up your own crafting rehab facility. I'm sure you could get rich quick.

Crafting rehab sounds like someplact to go to get over crafting.. you know, like drug rehab. I want to go to a crafting spa. SEWSPA. Yeah, I need me some of that!

Man, a rehab facility like that sounds like heaven!

A rehab facility where you actually get to relish in your habit? :) Sounds good, for crafting at least!

I don't have a ton of buttons, but the ones I do have came from grandmothers and eBay. eBay seems too expensive though.

I have been passing up pretty fabric left and right lately. It is hard. Very hard.

Maybe we should call it a crafting retreat instead, since actually being deprived while we're there would take all the fun out of it.

Those buttons are purty! And, no, I have no idea because I sure as hell can't find any decent buttons here. And when I do find decent ones, they have a hefty price.

you know,i get alot of bulk buttons from dick blick. they apparently are cast offs from clothing manufacturers because sometimes they have alot of differant brand names on them. this last batch had tons of eddie bauer. but i like it because you get them by the pound for really cheap and they come in tons of colors and shapes. not as good as vintage of course but i always have a hard time parting with vintage buttons. lol

Those buttons are adorable. Maybe we should start our own chapter of crafters anonymous.

F...how did I miss this lovely post? I swear, sometimes I wonder about me...ok most of the time really.

I love the buttons, and I may have to dig around in my (LARGE) stash and see what I have that needs to go to you...tee-hee

I hope you had a productive weekend, if only we lived closer, I would have helped you with your tear down if you would have helped me with my raking...
