By popular demand (popular. ha. demand. haha), here is what I created at my scrapbooking class last night...
... I'm a wee bit of a rebel. The class leader gave us two color schemes to choose from. I left the class and got what I wanted to do. (ooooo... such a badass!)
And, yes, as a matter of fact -- we did paint that playroom over two and half years ago. And, yes, the blinds have not be rehung. And, yes, the lonely lightbulb is still dangling out of a hole in the ceiling because my husband still hasn't reinstalled the light fixture.
You wanna make somethin' of it?

You rebel you! Awesome! I am glad you had fun and got so much out of the class. I tagged you for a meme, sorry, I couldn't help myself.
I'm sure your taste was better than the teacher's, anyway. I love the big letters, and you won't get any flack from me about the blinds/light fixture... I'm the queen of the uncompleted projects.
I love it you scrapbookin' rebel. Who needs blinds? Why do want a light fixture anyway?
I love those letters so much!!!!! What is the base made out of? You rock and anyone who says otherwise can kiss my fat....
Those letters look great!
Our house always has jobs that need to be done and the list just keeps getting longer.
Hee hee hee - you do home improvements like I do home improvements! Viva naked windows and dangling bulbs....
Love the letters, hate begin told what to do. If I had been in the scrapbooking class, I so would have hung with you....
Wonderful...The ideas of large letters demanding that I remember to do something important (and laugh is certainly one of them) is appealing to me...and the stencils for these things are soooo expensive, I would indeed...not laugh.
Marie Antionette was visually stunning...a little Sophia slow on some accounts (that woman is not known for her dialouge is she?) but Marie's got some shoes and a bit of riches (ha) I enjoyed it...I'm sorry your queen movie didn't turn out the same.
Love those letters. I would have rebelled too and I also have a hanging lighbulb thingy, there's too much other fun stuff to worry about in life! Long live windows with no blinds ;)
Eeee - those letters are gorgeous!
Pretty, pretty letters! Well done.
Chipwood, huh? Those are so cool - do you just glue the paper on there? I've been wanting to put "Welcome" letters - one letter per picture frame up by our door for over a year now. I have the letters E and L done, but now I think I want to try your chipwood thingie. Where do I get the stuff???
Laughing in the face of authority. All right!
I love it! I'm in letter mode right now, painting letters for Alex's room. And only two years? That isn't so long to be with out blinds. I still have a paper shade in my bathroom from 2.5 years ago.
