I Hate Myself for Loving You

I'm rather proud of myself, I finished my Apron ATC swap a day before the deadline.

This is the first time I've ever made these, and I love them. The smaller something is, the cuter it is. Seriously.

I really like the little saying I came up with. I thought it was very funny. But the more I wrote it, the more it sounded like a quiet desperation. And I? Love quiet desperation. I love it when something has more than one emotion to it.

And I'm officially smitten with the 7gypsies stamp. I can see myself using it all the time.

I'll be mailing these out today along with the rest of the pin cushions. Um, yeah. Sorry 'bout that. But they are On Their Way.

I went to the scrapbook store this weekend to look around. I walked out with this...

... apparently, I'm making Festivus cards now. How the fuck did that happen?

I love the quote, but then I'm well acquainted with quiet desperation. ;) Your crafting skills are fantastic!

Same way that I am now making soap and my own holiday gift tags, and there's still all that knitting, weaving and a scrapbook to be made...Hmmm, I think today was going better before I made this list hehe!

The cards are lovely. (And I am so glad I finally figured out just exactly wtf "ATC" stood for - do you know how much Googling that took? Surprisingly difficult....)

I am quite pleased for you - you did come up with both a pleasing design and a fantastic slogan.

And I am a big fan of Festivus - I mean, c'mon - any holiday that *encourages* the airing of grievances? 'Cause isn't that what all family gatherings deteriorate into anyway? Might as well be prepared for it....

I'm still hacked at Ben and Jerry's for discontinuing the "Festivus for the Rest of Us" flavor a few years back. I always really looked forward to its return to the stores...

L.O.V.E those ATC's. Love them!! And thank god you posted that last photo - I was going to send you some of that paper with the circles on ! I saw it today and thought 'Oh she'll like that'! You see, whilst you know me and my fabric, I obviously know you and your paper!
Did I mention that I love those ATC'S??
On and 'Quiet Desperation?' why that's my middle name. No really. Manda Quietdesperation McGrory.

Cor, you just rock! You know that, don't you? Your ATC's are awesome. I seriously want to know how you got that great edge on them. Are there scissors that do that?

Those cards are really great. I love the whole ATC thing. I'm not a part of it but it seems really neat.

But who started apron-specific ones? Obviously I think that's brilliant!

LMAO - festivus. I love it. Do you also participate in the feats of strength? LOL.
