Baby, I-I-I Can't Wait

Apparently I'm blind.

Well, not blind-blind but bad enough to need glasses. And bad enough that the doctor was "pleasantly surprised" that I don't have a lazy nor crossed eyes. Nice.

Now Aaron's hyperventalating over the price of eye wear. And there goes any hopes and dreams of EVER owning an ipod. Stupid fucking eyes.

My glasses are spending way more time on than off lately.. kind of sad. Just a warning, getting older is a bitch. And a lot worse than that blue tape.

needing glasses during the holiday season is not fun. can you put them off until tax refund time? (hee hee hee)

glasses aren't too bad. just try not to fall asleep with them on your face and wake up in the middle of the night with them still attached! (i think i've done that twice in the past week! really, i didn't know i was *that* sleepy!)

OH HONEY...I just "treated" myself to the lovliest pair of Versace glasses (from Lens Crafters...look for their half price frame coupons in the paper...or online) And I say treated because in all my years of wearing glasses, I've never spent this much money on frames (plus, I get the non-glare because I get overwhelmed by the glare from the lenses and I tend to cry a lot then...and transition lenses because then I don't have to spend extra $$ on sunglasses)and, the justification of "I wear them everyday...they'd better be something I want" reared it's ugly head. Shopping for frames is too fun...and with all the $$ you've now spent on them, you won't spend on needless things (such as food) think of all the weight you'll loose! You'll look good all the way around.

And tell the boy he can buy an iPod from the Mac site...and the monthly payments are quite low!

What is it with eyes lately? I swear I need glasses, but I'm too much of a ninny to get it checked out. My husband has worn glasses since a teen, so he's having a lot of fun with this.
