Come On Try a Little, Nothing is Forever, There's Got to be Something Better Than in the Middle

I was going to write a big post today about public service and go vote and why are we gen-x'ers still fucked up and where's our civic duty and blah, blah, blah.

But, we are too busy over here crafting to shove politics down your throat.

Okay, maybe not too busy.

Ah politics...acutally a lovely subject for this the voting day! Or not...it all just frustrates me sometimes! Hey...I'm with the hubby, it's 2006?!?!?! I swear when people ask me how old I am, sometimes it throws me for a loop...let's see...I was born in 19...

(do you ever feel like you've misplased some years?)

Yeah, I got into the whole voting thing, but I tried not to be overly political. I'm probably just preaching to the choir though. :)

I'm off to go craft myself. Some pots...

Yesterday on NPR they said that on Sunday Bush had visited Kansas and Nebraska - two of the reddest states in the country. *cringe* Thank goodness for those patches of blue - sparse as they may be!

we have mail in voting.........love it! My husband has to work the elections coverage, so this always means a very late night for us all.

I've voted, and was also going to help out a local candidate this afternoon, but I got sick instead. (Damned C. difficile, why won't you leave me alone?) I'm very curious to see how the races play out tonight! My kids have been talking about it for a long time, and commenting on every political sign they see. ("Good sign! Yay! Bad sign! Boo! Why are there so many bad signs?" 'Cause we're in Kansas, kid....)

I'll plead on Capello's behalf : The rest of us out here in the Uncivilised World are all relying on you guys to get A HUMAN PRESIDENT, so please go vote, y'all!!!!

We had Bush last week (in Georgia, not the ATL...), so I feel for y'all. Sigh...

Went and voted - got my sticker. Should have saved it for your boys - I love the looks of concentration they both are sporting!

Look at the concentration on their faces! That's serious crafting happening over there!

LOL - politics. I don't belong to a party. I don't believe in politics. DH calls me an idealistic communist. I guess it makes me a democrat. LOL.
