I Saw a Werewolf Drinking a Pina Colada

::inhale::

The pumpkins are set out.

But the carve-able pumpkins aren't carved yet.

The allergen-free pumpkin chocolate chip muffins are ready.

But Griffin's school party isn't for an hour.

The tricks and treats are on the table.

But they aren't in goodie bags yet.

The house is decorated.

But the Lego jack o'lantern isn't put together yet.

The kids are ready to go trick-or-treating tonight.

But Darwin refuses to wear a costume.

::exhale::

Dang, those boys are cute!

Let me just say you are WAY further along than I ever will be this Halloween. The girls have butterfly wings. That's it. Nothing else to go with. I am hoping they just won't figure out that just wings is the lamest costume EVER.

Have yourself a Pina Colada and it will be all good.

Sounds spookily similar to the state of affairs at our house... Have a good evening!

Dar could be an evil genius. They look just like everybody else.

We're kinda sorta ready. Mike is arriving back from Houston (a one-day trip) just in time for trick-or-treating.

Your boys are looking so handsome! Max didn't want to wear a costume when he found out I don't have the technology to make him look EXACTLY like an armor clad Ratchet from the PS2 game "Ratchet and Clank". But when I told him he's not allowed to go trick or treating without one he agreed to go as a spy. Now I get to make a spy costume in less than three hours. Yikes.

at Trader Vic's?

I love those little pumpkins in the pots with the sweet potato vine -- very pretty/classy.

Have a great Halloween!

A Lego jack o' latern? Is that your own design or one from a box? It sounds awesome! Please finish it so I can see it.

Wow, you're going all out!

Elise is, again, like Darwin. She says she wants to "get candy with her head" (i.e. without a costume, just her own head).

Hey, that's a kick-ass Lego jack-o-lantern you have there. I want one.

lol, happy halloween. The only thing on my agenda today is making sure Lily is worn out enough to take an afternoon nap. She is right now asleep. Life is good.
