Ah Ooooh, Got You Where I Want You (Yeah)

An unexpected thrifting find on Friday caused havoc in our lives this weekend.

Amazing how bringing in a piano (purchased for $100 - with bench) completely turns a house inside out.

Wow. That is a great find!
Now you just need a video camera so you can up load videos of you and the boys playing it!

Nice find! I'm sure the boys will love it. I bet that one was hard to get home though. :)

Don't forget to get it tuned!!!

At least you'll have a sporting chance of some melody coming out of it as the kids are thumping away.

who's taking lessons? do you play already?

Wow. Looks like the stand up piano that my mom owns, and has had since my childhood. Different name though. Congrats on the new addition to the family.

my A would want to visit you everyday!!
We've done the kid keyboards numerous times but they drive me bonkers with thier preset annoying tunes. I'm looking for more sanity saving instruments!
100 bucks! woulddn't find that here!

Oh yeah. We have one. It can be noisy in our house at times. Enjoy.

Wow! Looks pretty . . . all the pianos I see at thrift shops are pieces of crap. $100? That is a steal of a deal!

Great deal! It reminds me of the piano my mom had. I'd like to get a piano and some early B-52s sheet music, just to freak people out. Sex Pistols would be good for that too...

First of all, just stumbled across your blog. I'm so glad there's somebody out there with a mouth filthier than mine. Just reading your blog brings the taste of Ivory soap to mind (my Mother says she still regrets that).

I just can't stop laughing!!

And the piano. We're renting ours. The real furniture has been moved to the basement to make room. All day long "Oompa Loompa" from Willy Wonks comes ringing out of the hulking thing. My daughter plays it & then my husband plays it. Then I come jumping out of the bathtub and run downstairs to tell them both to shut up, at least until my bathing is done.

Best of luck with your find. I'll be checking in to see what else is up.

Yay! What a fun find!

And oh my, moving pianos is not much fun... My hubby and I have had to do that a couple times and each time he said he was never going to move another piano:)

Do you or Aaron play? I got a piano for the price of moving it to my house ($130) and I love having it. But since we moved to Oregon we haven't had it tuned. I plan on getting it tuned, it's so much fun to bang around on it. I played piano when I was a kid but don't really any more. I'd love to learn again.
