And I Feel Like I Just Got Home

{Before}

{After}

Those damn curtains took me nearly all damn weekend to make them. Including countless times of sending naughty-naughty children to put their noses in the corner. And ironing. And sewing on the kitchen counter. And pinning the fabric on carpet. And dust (god damn, those old ones were gross).

But it was so totally worth it.

I've got the fabric all purchased for our new bedroom curtains, but haven't yet mustered the energy (or guts).

Those great drapes of yours, though, may be the tipping point. Thanks.

Top curtains, top floral tribute removal job and super duper new blog banner. I'd say that added up to a very successful weekend!

Damn...It was totally worth the dust! Poo-be-gone! I love the new curtains and the banishing of the flowers (oh, and the new banner...) You've been very busy...especially if you did most of that on the kitchen counter. I know how hard that can be...congratulations!

Great Job! Oh that floral swag was mighty large and oh- so- mauve...was it not?

Those red curtains are da-vine.

I hate my curtains. If I cross 4 more things off my "guilt list" maybe I can justify new ones.

oh dear me...i do hope you sacrificed the flowery monstrosity straight to the dumpster so that husband of yours can't insist it must be kept. :) You know, cuz of the memories that took place in that doorway - or something??

And, you-did-so-damn-good-on-those-curtains-that- I-wanna-hire-you-for-mine.
