So These Are My Schemes and These Are My Plans

Someone must have slapped me with a happy stick because....

SHAZAM!

Hot damn, I made a slipcover for the piano bench!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Woman, why do you need to make a slipcover for the piano bench?"

"Because it's brown. That's why."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now... I have to go work on more brown stuff... specifically gluten-free chocolate-chocolate cupcakes for tomorrow. Because Aaron most certainly isn't gonna make my birthday cake.

Men. Hmph.

Damn...doesn't he KNOW that the new slipcovers are going to go with the curtains you made so much better?

I think you need to share some of that 'antibiotic' around - you've morphed into Superwoman. And Happy Birthday (at least when you make your own cake, you are morally justified in licking the whole bowl without sharing).

You are on a roll aren't you? I feel you on making your own b-day sweets. Our men just don't realize that would be the best b-day gift of all. Happy Early Birthday!

Gluten free double chocolate cupcakes? Mmmmm. I hope he's nice to you for your birthday to make up for his lack of cupcake-making.

Happy Birthday to you! Please share the cake recipe as well and enjoy your birthday. Wish I was there to whip you up one myself.

Happy birthday, Laura! The cupcakes sound yummy, even if you have to make them yourself. :)

The bench looks great! And now I'm totally holding you to your promise to help slip cover everything in my house.

And your use of Shazam! brightened my day. :)

Shazam indeed! My jumping the gun on your birthday just means you can celebrate longer! Is Aaron taking you to Tassos on Saturday night to see Zaiana shake it?

did you know that the ancien greeks didn't not describe objects by colour? not ever. For them colours were not important in defining things.

Sad world.

I think that cover is splendid and yes, the only allowed brown thing around the house should be chocolate!!
