Some Will Win, Some Will Lose, Some Are Born to Sing the Blues

"Did I take my antibiotic?"

"I don't know. You opened the bottle, did you take it?"

"I can't remember."

"It was less than five minutes ago."

"I know, I can't remember. This damn antibiotic is making me lose my mind. When I was making dinner last night, I had to put my hand on the burner I wanted to turn on and stare at the oven controls to find the right knob."

"Maybe it's not the antibiotic. Maybe the infection has gotten to your brain and you're gonna die."

::blink, blink:: "Thanks Aaron. That helps a bunch."

"Hey, I'm just lookin' at it from all angles. That's what scientists have to do."

Now, I'm like that most of the time, and I do not have mastoiditis. So I think Aaron's hypothesis is pretty weak. I think the condition is really brain damage caused by proximity to too many males.

I mean, shame on Aaron.
And I hope that it has not spread to your brain!

So he's a scientist? Aaron is a big mystery to me. I want to know more about what he does but I would like to keep up this thin illusion we have that I'm not nosy.

I must have a brain infection, one I didn't even know about...I'm like this all the time and as my older sisters say, it only gets worse...sigh...

Oh no...maybe you need to have a little check list and then check it off when you take it...

It's always nice to have a supportive spouse! My brain went like that after having kids....I never regained full function again...sigh.

I don't know. After reading about what could happen if it spreads (on your previous post), I'd double check that forgetfulness is one of the side effects of your pills.

If not, I'd go see a doctor (or at least give em a call). And I'm totally a wait and see sort of person. (I would have dealt with the fever for a month, too, before going in.)

Good luck.

Every single day I have to respond like a soldier to my pill alarm. If I don't I spend at least an hour wondering if I really DID take it and then ultimately waiting to see if I get weird side effects from skipping before I take one. Then I spend another half a day paranoid that I just doubled up. SIGH. The life of a pill popper...

Maybe Aaron found out about the whole pinworm posting thing & is trying to get you back...Xxx

That's a terrible thing to say but sadly, it sounds like something I'd say to my hubby. I know, sick sense of humor.
