Step By Step (Ooooh Baby), Really Want You in My World

There's the potty training...

... which isn't as much "training" anymore as it is constant cleaning out the little potty.

And someone still insistent on wearing his underpants backward. Hmph.

Oh well...at least their undies and not the pull ups...Congrats to the little boy...and newest member of the grown up potty club!

I wonder if there's a jacket for that club?

At least he's wearing underpants. That's a big and important step.

I know that when my children potty-trained, once they "got it," they were in the bathroom every 20 minutes for months. They were so proud of themselves. (We have always used the potty seat that sits on top of the regular toilet. No messes to clean up, except random sprayed pee pee.)

We're getting close on this, too. We're still in the Pull-Ups phase though. She did real underwear once, and promptly peed and pooed in them, and didn't care for that too much. Today, she managed to keep the Pull-Ups dry even through a nap, so maybe we'll try the undies again soon. I have to go on a roadtrip with her in a month -- I wonder if I'll have to stop every half hour??

He's getting so grown-up! He looks like a kid! (Not sure whether to put a smiley or a frowny here...)

Yeah Darwin! Who's the man!

Congratulations...that is a hard step for a toddler (I work with them at a daycare and it's the worst part).

Man, that's a tough transition time. I'm still trying to figure out how it is that girls are easier to pottytrain than boys since Miss L has more accidents than her brothers ever did. Combined.

y'all have got to be on the home stretch now!

Go, Darwin, Go!
(preferably in the BIG potty...)

I think the underpants backwards is a boy thing. My 4 year old son likes to wear them that way with or without the cool pictures on the back.

I'll give you a million bucks if ya tell me how ya did it...Xxx

My boy insisted on the backwards thing too, for awhile. Then his sister told him if he turned them around he would have a little 'pocket' to put his Matchbox cars in. Problem fixed. Well.....sort of.

Go Darwin, go! we're having no-underwear issues. My two enjoy going comando. The new rule is that if they are going to grandma's they have to wear underwear--grandma is *not* into the comando thing.

Ha ha ha...I just trained mine over Christmas break, and one of the kids walked by the bathroom door to see him peeing on the wall. I cannot keep my bathrooms clean. Why can't they wear diapers until they are 6????

Heh, Jack likes to wear both the underwear and the pants backwards now. LOL

Too funny, my son love to wear his underpants backwards too. You cant see Thomas otherwise a design flaw in my mind.
