Shining Like a Work of Art

Autumn has officially arrived in Kansas. We celebrated by meeting some of our favorite friends at the park.

It's too nice to be stuck indoors today.

That last picture is really cool! I'd love to walk on something like that, then again with my luck I'd fall in the water!

Jealous -- love that place and in cool weather too. Mmm mmm.

Cracking up about your table post below. Only you could go on for so long about a table. I agree with those that said it is really just the original finish decomposing that is causing the sticky. And there is no easy solution for that total striping and sanding and painting over with really good oil based paints and letting it cure for.ever. to get it really hard. Nasty for a kitchen table and nasty work all around. And is the table solid wood? Cause if it is a veneer it isn't gonna sand properly anyway.

That place looks hauntingly familiar! I'm glad you're feeling good enough to enjoy the weather now.

Today was our first humidity-free day in a long time. I think autumn is arriving on the east coast, too. Yippee!

Hey! I've been to that park. Since it has been almost 8 years since I lived in KC I cannot remember the name of it. But, I do remember being there. Loose Park??

Those are the prettiest pictures ever. Glad you all got outside and away from that UNHEALTHY table!

My son would go crazy at that park. And then fall in the water since he can't seem to not fall into water. He fell in a mall fountain once on vacation. How does someone do that? Sigh...Autumn is definitely here and making way to winter. Summer goes way too quickly for me.
