No Need to Whine Boy, Like a Wind Up Toy You Stutter at My Feet

Geesh.

screaming children

Yep. That's a really good summary of my life today.

The boys had dental appointments. Amazingly, no one warned me that taking children to the dentist would make me want to jump off a cliff and slash my wrists while falling just to ensure a good deadly death.

Don't get me wrong: I love being a mom. And I love my kids.

But damn it. Sometimes it's just a little much. Can I get a "fuck yeah!"?

Wait till they have to get braces.....

they'll be cool about it. You'll be the one having a tanty about how much the bloody things cost.

Just remember to take the camera so you can get a photo of yourself looking like your kids now do. It'll be an interesting 'passage of time' montage.

Fuck yeah! Just pour a stiff drink, set them in front of the piano, and step outside.

oh FUCK yeah!!! And it always irritates me when you talk to those mothers who say that every single minute of parenting is a complete joy. What kind of crack are YOU on lady 'cause I want some??!!!!! Ya big fat LIAR. It's about 75% hell, but that 25% of heaven is better than anything in the world.

That reminds me that I should take Max and find out if he's ever going to lose his baby teeth.

I'm having that day today too. Cale woke up 20 minutes before he was supposed to, so he could whine about not wanting to go to school. I had to pick him up and shove him on the bus, because there's no way a whiny kid gets to stay home from school! So fuck yeah.

Well *all* have days like this.

Although, I don't think that most kids are nearly so cute while they are screaming....
