Who's to Say I Can't Do Everything, But I Can Try

We just got back from the Dermatologist for Darwin another appointment. It was suppose to be a follow-up for the polka-dot rash, but the doctor got a whole new can of worms with the new rash Darwin is sporting. (I would post photos, but I don't want anyone to freak out.)

Poor Darwin -- that's quickly becoming the family motto. Between his chronic food allergies (over 250), his atopic dermatitis, his rare and complicated unknown rashes and his eye accident this kid has faced a lot in his short little life.

At least turning off the tv has made him to decide to start wearing his glasses for entertainment.

Poor Darwin indeed. That is some rough stuff for such a little guy, but man does he look cute sporting his glasses! Cute! CUte! cute!

Big hugs for Darwin. He looks like a pretty happy little guy even with all the things he has to deal with now. :)

But he is so freakin cute! What a trooper.

He looks so cute - funny that he puts his specs on now - he's probably trying to get the screen in focus again!

Poor little guy! It's so tough for them to deal with that when they're so little. My little brother had a slew of allergies growing up. He was skin and bones due to all the food allergies (he couldn't eat anything). My son has a peanut and milk allergy, which is a pain, but not nearly as bad as it could be.

Awwww.. what an awesome little guy.... speaking as someone with an "eye problem" I surely do hope his continues to get better as time goes on.. he's got enough going on.. and by that mischevious look on his face... he's about to get busy *grin*

Poor kid!
Tell him that he looks stylish! And that some people wear glasses and don't even need them! Its very Italian. Or Harry Potter, you decide. If it wasn't for Dora and Diego, I would be right there with you on the no TV anymore. Instead it has been narrowed down to only Nick JR shows. Nothing with even a hint of kung fu or guns. :D

Wow, I hadn't read about Darwin's eye accident before (I'm late to the game, I guess). It sounds like that was scary! He seems to be taking it all in stride though. If things like this build character, he should have loads of it!

Love the glasses! The poor little guy.

No TV! Good for you! My DD watches only about an hour a day in the morning and then no more. I like silence! LOL.

Those glasses are adorable. They make him look very intellectual! Maybe he's decided that it's time to hit the books, now that you've pulled the plug on his TV. ;)

Laura, he's just so unearably CUTE! I know that's what everyone else said, too, but it IS the best word for him!

I'm still in awe over the last post. I admire your commitment. I have some remorse about TV...maybe you'll inspire us.

And he's still smiling. We can learn from that.
