Come On Baby, Take a Ride With Me

Today we are leaving for "spring" break.

I take that "spring" part very lightly as we will be going to Michigan to visit with Aaron's family. Where there's snow on the ground.

It's been a year and a half since our last visit, and although it is overdue for us to visit, we're all a bit on edge for the trip. Considering what happened last time.

Topic to discuss amongst yourselves while I continue to pack: how much gluten-free food do you think we packed in the van? Is it equal to, more than or less than the number of clothing packed in the van? Who thinks we can survive a week without any allergic reactions? Hands? Hands?

Good luck, and happy travels! For the gluten free food in the van question, I'm guessing "a shitload." Am I close?

Have you tried Bio Allers Animal Dander Remedy? It helps one build up an immunity to animals. Just a thought. I do wish you the best of luck! Happy Spring Break! Maybe you should start drinking NOW!! GO HAVE A DRINK!! Pack the van with alcohol too!!

Well I'm hoping for two mild allergic reactions but no trips to the emergency room.

Safe journey.

Good luck.

Wait...does this mean we get to slap you because you "mentioned" going to Michigan? What do we get to do to you now that you're actually going?

Good luck

i think you can, i think you can...

i tend to dread these trips, too - for similar, albeit more MINOR reasons - however, the older the kids get, the easier it is. hopefully it'll work for you, too.

I'm laying bets your trip should be good for a few tales. One thing I've learned about your family - life is never boring with you guys!

Just come back in one piece.

Um, next time, how about the grandparents visit Kansas instead? Yikes. You are BRAVE.

My parents are from Detroit. To make ourselves feel better for visiting there we tell people we are going to the City by the River, Day-trois.
