Then Griffin found some Star Wars fabric that he had to have too.
"Why do you have to have it, Griffin?"
"Because I need it."
"Whatcha gonna do with it?"
"I don't know yet."
"So then why do you need it?"
"It's for my stash."
Ahem. Spoken like a true fabric junkie.
I will not comment about my reason being at the craft store having anything to do with finding more buttons. Or buying more magnets. Furthermore, I will not comment about whether or not I purchased all the magnets in the size I like and inquired when they would get more in.

well I won't comment that I happen to think your button magnets are great. so there.
Love the fabric. And I can't believe your son said it was for HIS stash!!! That Star Wars print exactly matches my son's comforter and sheets. I could make him matching PJs. :)
'stash' ha! that's hilarious. and i NEED that star wars fabric - they didn't have it when we went the other day. and i gave away my vintage star wars sheets - for a good reason, though.
For this stash -- HA!!!!! So, Laura, what are you going to make for the boys? Everytime my kids pick out fabric, the responsibility falls on me.
Yay, a new addiction!
Another fabric addict! LOL! I saw some fabric like that when I made my run today. I may pick some up to make boxers for the boys.
So how soon can you teach him to sew? He's obviously got the genes for it!
Nice, bringing out the Marcy Playground. Pigeon Farm, you know what I'm saying?
And I like those magnets, too!
I can't wait to see what he makes with it or will he be like the rest of us and never cut it up because it's just too pretty um, I mean handsome.
Great, so I'm gettin' my button magnets, right?!
Stop shaking your head.
That is too funny! So what are you going to make for them?
Sonya
morgan is aquiring quite a stash these days. who am i to tell her no? she adore the thrift store stuff too! that's my girl!
That's funny about the stash. :) Now he has to make something!
Oddly, I hate going to the craft store even though I like to make stuff.
"It's for my stash" - LMAO!!!!! Can he come stay with me for a couple of weeks? He cracks me up!! That fabric would become boxers in my house - my son, he's totally addicted to underwear.
Oh, the stash starts so young doesn't it? Good for him...and good for you too, for that matter!
like mother like son!!
Cale liked the character fabric too when we went to Joanns. Ugh.
Maybe make them pajama pants or something. Or cut out the images and heat bond them to a tshirt and zigzag the edges.
The last issue of Adorn had some great button ideas, like necklaces. I bought a ton when we were home for button projects too.
Nice to see you are starting the obsession early! Now he just needs a little machine.
Oh, you just gotta love a stash buildin' kid! Good for him!
And I love love love those button magnets. I may need to make some for my own fridge. So cute!
His stash huh! :)
I saw that star wars fabric when I was looking for transformer fabric the other day. What good boys you have, building their stash!
Your boys are AWESOME!!
My older boy has a stash, too. :)
Well, you can't say no when he says it's for his stash. At least he pays attention and learns from you:)
