Your Point of View is Medieval

I'm on the fence with early voting. Normally that's what we do but meh, come on... it's quite the hassle. Usually I'm in a longer line there than when I do go to my normally scheduled voting locations.

Plus, I really like slapping that sticker on my collar that very moment.

Instant gratification rocks.

Here's a nice little social commentary on life...

In 2000...

And today...

Seven days to go. Anyone else ready?

very nice. i don't think we have the option of early voting here in st. louis. not sure i'd do it, though, since i want to take my big girls to the polls. it's historic and i want them to be a part of it.

But will you do it? The UK is in a frenzy about your elections, but can only cross our fingers and hope. It HAS to be, hasn't it?

But then, we thought that the last time...

Me! Me! I'm ready!

I early voted last week and was in and out in 10-minutes. I've never early voted before but, with memories of the caucus fresh in my mind, I opted for the easy way out. Plus, I think Mr. Tonks and I are going to volunteer for Obama next Tuesday to make sure that all of his supporters get up off their duffs and VOTE.

VOTE. VOTE. VOTE.

Yeah.

I was going to do the mail in ballot, but William is excited about going to the polls (though he swears he is NEVER going to another caucus). So I'll probably take him with me and vote early.

Well, I voted absentee this year, and since I'm from Oregon, and everyone in Oregon votes by mail, my vote will count! I'm so excited! But I missed out on the sticker :( hehehe! Hooray for voting! :) :) :)

I am so worried about some strange but obviously not impossible scenerio where early votes end up not counting. The last 8 years have made me paranoid. However in our neighborhood we are the only Obama supporters in a sea of the other guy's yard signs. And people think Halloween is scary!

I am waiting until election day. I got my "I'm a McCainac" T-shirt and my sensible republican shoes all laid out ready for November 4th. Hehehe..:)

Oh, so ready. And I think the new president of my choice would be a great birthday present for me, don't you think? I mean, surely I deserve it for suffering throught he past 8 years.....

And the sticker just makes my day.

We have the early vote option here (Illinois across the river from St. Louis). I think I'll pass - my polling place is never busy. One thing about this election year, my hubby as a State employee, gets the whole day off to vote!

I just voted. I did it because everyone has to send their ballots in in Oregon. So retarded. I like going to the polls on the official voting day and wait until the late evening to see what everyone is reporting. It is very anti-climactic to have to vote early and drop it off.

I could vote on the actual voting day and deliver my ballot but I was too afraid I would totally forget.

I want to know the outcome NOW.

You are so fuckin' awesome.

I'd skipped the wassup followup video -- saw it linked, didn't think it would be worth the time. Boy howdy. Thanks.

I did the mail in thing. And it was awesome! It came with a sticker that my daughter insisted on wearing around. Which is fair because she's the one that filled in all the circles (yes, I did double check that she filled in the correct ones). That day's homeschool involved an explanation of the organization of our government as well as going over every single issue on the ballot. She's been begging me to come with when I knock on doors for Obama, but I'm a little worried about exposing her to some of the people out there.
