I've Got to Get Closer But I Don't Know How

Dude.

I could handle these god damn business trips a lot better if they had a definite end-date. What was suppose to be a three day trip has stretched into day nine and still still in the air of how many more days it will last.

And, trust me, children behave a hell of a lot better when they know for certain when Daddy's coming home.

Oh. My. Hell.

[green week]

Like Tuckie, I'm happy to just have my head above water.

Tuckie looks like a Star Wars extra in that shot - great!

Which is more than I can say for business trips. Boo.

I love Tuckie.. Yo.
I'm sorry about all the traveling. Do the boys play together.. you know in a way that doesn't require constant mediation. Only child action here and I remember days that NEVER. FREAKING. ENDED.

But now she's an adult and I'm exacting my revenge with annoying motherly phone calls.

Oh, man. Having them gone so long is stressful. It's probably even worse than having them home all sick and whiny and cranky. Not that that's ever happened to me.

Anything we can do? Playdate?

If I lived closer (which I don't) I would come babysit for hours and hours and give you a break. But, since I don't know you in real life that might be kinda weird. Well, maybe not after 9+ days. :)

Dude, I still think you need to check Aaron for a double life. Are you sure he doesn't have a second wife and family in Utah?

I would be going crazy. The longest my husband stayed away was 7 days, and by the last couple days I thought I would lose my mind.

There should be a law against dads being gone for that long. You should be able to Rent-A-Man, to help you out if he's gone for more than 2 days! I think so anyway! I hope he gets home safe and sound, quickly! Wish you could take 9 days off? I wish I could!
