I decided to let go of stuff and responsibilities. The stuff is hard and easy to let go of and luckily the few responsibilities that I had were sort of easy to. Now figuring out how to enjoy life again is the hard part. Go figure.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15555813.post-72871423626821399422008-07-08T15:26:00.000-05:002008-07-08T15:26:00.000-05:00How appropriate that I would read this today, afte...How appropriate that I would read this today, after the world's shittiest morning. :-/Sarah and Jackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00618358656098944111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15555813.post-28394772307638465422008-07-02T12:57:00.000-05:002008-07-02T12:57:00.000-05:00oh man, i hear you. love to you.oh man, i hear you. love to you.montaguehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14414911616186252389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15555813.post-58297802729486549802008-06-26T08:58:00.000-05:002008-06-26T08:58:00.000-05:00Yes, the wonders of medicine. If it works, great. If not, then try Dr. Phil's advice where he says "so, how's that workin' for ya"? (If what you're doing is not working, you need to do something different). I think a big part of it is the feeling of isolation of having young children. It is isolating because they are your world and all you do is for them. It is hard to carve out time that isn't already consumed by them. Seems I remember you writing about this last summer too. ?? Perhaps the change in the schedules and your daily doings really throws you for a while? It sounds odd, but adding an activity has helped me let go of some others. Getting to the gym for walking or yoga comes first for me 4-5 times a week now. I do this before anything else. It's like enforced meditation time. If this comes first, it's the other things that have to go, not the mental health that has to go. And just having some precious minutes away from screaming children is priceless.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15555813.post-36244262892939858842008-06-24T20:05:00.000-05:002008-06-24T20:05:00.000-05:00hang in there, laura. i'm acting crazy in the not...hang in there, laura. i'm acting crazy in the not so good way myself.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15555813.post-86045397721117189782008-06-24T19:32:00.000-05:002008-06-24T19:32:00.000-05:00I'm right there with ya!I'm right there with ya!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15555813.post-61377567550609055772008-06-24T17:25:00.000-05:002008-06-24T17:25:00.000-05:00Ah, the refrain of Summer.
